Hyperbole and a Half posted again, and everyone needs to read it because:
If you are depressed, it will resonate with you like whoa.
If you are not depressed, it will clarify some stereotypes about depression that need to be said. An explanation like this has been needed for a LONG time.
If you know someone who is depressed, you’ll be better at interacting with them after reading this.

masterofonions asked: You see, there are no donuts in my house. My parents do not believe in donuts. Also I do not have a car. That is required to drive to krispy kreme to get donuts. Also my mother does not want to drive me to krispy kreme to buy me donuts. She thinks this is a waste of her time. Therefore, we can conclude that I have no immediate avenue to obtain donuts. Thus, ;_;

Can’t you walk to donuts? There totally have to be donuts closer than krispy kreme. Are there seriously no donuts in those funny strip malls by walmart? THERE IS EVERYTHING IN THOSE FUNNY STRIP MALLS.
Including taco bell, but then apparently that’s too far for you to walk twice anyway. ;D

“So my amazing daughter, Emma, turned 5 last month, and I had been searching everywhere for new-creative inspiration for her 5yr pictures. I noticed quite a pattern of so many young girls dressing up as beautiful Disney Princesses, no matter where I looked 95% of the “ideas” were the “How to’s” of  how to dress your little girl like a Disney Princess…We chose 5 women (five amazing and strong women), as it was her 5th birthday but there are thousands of unbelievable women (and girls) who have beat the odds and fought (and still fight) for their equal rights all over the world

Anonymous asked: Totally get what you're saying. I'm in IB right now and am considering dropping, and was just curious as to what your reasoning was.

Honestly, when it comes to university, look at WHAT you’ll be getting credit for. I am so thankful I didn’t complete IB because it would have but me ahead on my credits even more than I already am, which sounds awesome, but isn’t because only a few of the courses would have actually applied to my major. And by a few I mean 2. The 2 that I got from AP anyway. The rest just take up all you electives and push you into declaring earlier and having fewer options. I have a lot of friends who did IB/a lot more AP than me who are having a rough time now at the end of first year realizing that maybe they weren’t ready to declare their major summer before starting university.
Anyway, it’s up to you and I hope everything works out. Just know that it’s not going to make or break your life. You’ll be okay whatever you do. Both sides will present their struggles, but honestly. If bitchy IB teachers are making you miserable, get out and enjoy yourself a little!
